GatheredSafe Zone:
- Automatic Safety Adoption: As users move through the community, their devices automatically align with the area’s pre-established safety plans. These plans are designed by entities like colleges, places of worship, and event venues.
- Zone Awareness: Users are informed when they enter a GatheredSafe Zone, with the app displaying the zone’s name and logo.
- Easy Zone Location: Press the button in the app to find the three closest GatheredSafe Zones, complete with directions.
Personal Situation Awareness:
- Safety Buddy Feature: Users can create a Personal Situation Awareness for their designated Safety Buddy, providing a live map and personal profile for enhanced communication.
- Emergency Escalation: The Safety Buddy can escalate the situation to 911 with crucial details for swift assistance.
Automated Actions in GatheredSafe Mode:
- Instant Emergency Calls: Calls 911 or a designated non-911 emergency contact.
- Proactive Distress Messages: Sends up to 5 SMS texts and emails with the user’s location to pre-selected contacts.
- Audio-Video Evidence: Optional recordings of the user’s environment, attached to emails.
- Continuous Siren: Option to blast a police siren for ongoing alert, except during phone use.
